way back in may...the 3rd actually, it was national scrapbooking day. this was my first year to actually participate. that day i helped over at studio calico by hosting a challenge on their message boards and i also decided to work on some projects for the challenges they were putting up. these are the projects i created...

diy: repurposed candle holder, vol.2

over a year ago i blogged about taking old candle holders and repurposing them into a pen holder.  you can see that blogpost here.  well, i have a lot of candles and i loved how that diy turned out so i did some more and now use them for my makeup brushes!

i've really been into making cards this year. it seems that every time i get some inspiration and sit down to create i'm making cards instead of scrapbook pages!

still working on layouts from 2013. not sure whether to just call it quits and move on or try to do an abbreviated version from this point on. i do LOVE looking back at the detailed pages though.
